There are so many favorite things about this entire outfit. Burgundy, houndstooth layered gold, and those booties. All together, it just screams Fall time. I wish the weather would cooperate, but I’m not waiting on it.

It’s October. It’s raining all day. It’s weird. Can we make it stop please?
Anyways. I was beyond excited when I was able to find these camo jeans at Zara. I constantly went to Zara online and saved them in my shopping cart contemplating on whether to get them or not. Until…. they sold out. That’s when I freaked a little and obviously became more sure that I wanted to buy them. What now? They were sold out and the chances of finding them at the store was slim to none. Bu-uuuuuuuuh-t I went to the nearest store and found them..hidden.. and only one left and IN MY SIZE. Perfect timing or just perfect for me? Whatever it was, I finally got my hands on the jeans and I wasn’t walking out without them. (After paying for them, of course.)
I love when that happens. Has that ever happened to you?

Where am I living? There has been no ounce of sunshine for almost a week! Hello….don’t I live in the “Sunshine State”?
This crazy Miami rain brings crazy Miami humidity, and that only means one thing. Out of control, crazy hair for Ashley. It’s hard to want to do my hair when I know the minute I step out the front door, it won’t ever look the same. It’s a shame, especially with the crazy amount of hair I have. But when I do want to take that risk, my go-to miracle product is Moroccan Oil.
Now that we’re on the topic of hair, as you can tell, I didn’t go with my September craving for rich auburn hair. I went back to black! (and chopped off a few inches too). I realized that for Fall, dark hair is so shiny and healthy looking, I couldn’t resist…and I love it!

After finding this steal of a shirt last week (look familiar?), I couldn’t wait to wear it! It’s officially become one of my favorite pieces for this season. 1. it’s plaid. 2. it’s studded. 3. it’s soooo comfy. You can’t go wrong with any of the three. So I shook things up a bit and went with my turquoise wide legs for that perfect pop of color and to dress it up for work. I must say, this outfit is actually giving me a mix of Jenna Lyons and Taylor Tomasi-Hill vibes. I likey. (If you didn’t know, those two ladies are one of my biggest style inspirations!)

Truth be told, I’m a simple kind of gal. When I’m not in heels, I’m in sneakers. I usually wear the same set of jewelry: monogram necklace, my nixon watch, and a few bracelets. This is why I love the fall season so much. It’s a season all about simplicity in it’s core but topped off with experimental risks and fun. My core pieces for the fall are always a good pair of boots, my converse, a scarf and hat. Throw it together with a pair of jean cutoffs, a dress, or even add them to lady like outfits like a bouclé jacket and short set. Agh, I love it.
