Her/this outfit was definitely an eclectic mix of prints, but I must admit – I really like the boldness in her risk taking! Would you ever mix prints like these?

If you live in Miami, you definitely took witness to the beautiful sunset last night. I couldn’t help but to snap a pic!
Gap Striped Top (similar)| Target Plaid Blazer + Leopard Pants | YSL Colorblock Heels (c/o Saks) | Half United Necklace | Nixon Watch | David Yurman Bracelet | Rings: Gifted
I. LOVE. TO. MIX. PRINTS. And when I found this plaid blazer at Target over the weekend, I just knew I had to pair it with something leopard. I just had to. And because of the unexpected red underneath the collar, I thought what better than to add more prints into the mix to contrast together with the red. Then you know with that kind of color combination, the only shoe that would be perfect for the job would be my YSL heels (it’s still so wild to me that I won these heels). Some may think it crazy, but I call it amazing. Absolutely amazing. And fun too, of course.
As you noticed, my necklace. I hope you noticed. I only put a big detail shot of it. Well, I never take it off. It’s a new favorite of mine. Not because of it’s “repurposed” vibes, but because of the cause it backs up and operates for: Fighting Hunger. I’ve had the opportunity to chat with Carmin + Christian, the brother sister duo who are founders of Half United, and they’re amazing! I’m working with them on a really cool project, so take this bit of news as the “Monday” sneak peek I totally missed. (Sorry I’ve been so MIA on the blog, it’s been a hectic couple of days.) I would definitely recommend that you check out their site, their story, and best of all: their necklaces! And get one. Because it’s not just the cool thing to do. It’s a good thing to do.
Hope you all have had a great week so far. One more day to go & it’s the weekend. Thank God!
see you soon. xoxo.

Sneak Peek #3 (Number 3! We already on week THREE?!): Here’s the “Official Release” of my brand new logo!
If you haven’t noticed by now, I’ve already started to incorporate it on my recent posts. (shneaky, I know) This new, sleek transition has been in the works for quite some time now and it has been a very long and thoughtful process: drink coffee, get to the computer, create the logo, get opinions, drink more coffee, back to the drawing board, re-create, print it out, sleep on it, wake up, more coffee, take a second look, and fall absolutely in love.
I find my self to be a person who isn’t confined into a “box” or “style” when it comes to the way I am and the way I dress. I like to twist different styles together and add a few surprises here and there. So for my new logo, I really wanted something that really portrayed that: my personality, my style, and my brand. And that’s exactly what I got! For example, the “S’s…” in the logo are upside down. With the shield, two corners are rounded and the other two aren’t. I bet you also didn’t notice the H & E being different than your average ones.. Cool huh? I still get excited (and really nerdy) when I talk about it.
Now, I want to know what you think about it!
