TWOSDAY: Shirt Dress
I’m the type of person who loves to maximize each piece in my closet & shirt dresses are the easiest piece where you can get the most use out of them. Beach cover up, office wear, weekend wear…whatever, whenever! The first look to the left I wore during the weekend for church and brunch with friends and the right for work. Because it’s a very loose fitting dress, I added a belt to cinch the waist to give myself a more feminine flair.

Splurge vs Steal (It’s Back!)
I know it’s been a whiiiiiiiiiile, but I’m back with a steal that will rock your world.
You can say that purses are a girls best friend or you can argue that shoes are the best/must-have thing in a woman’s closet. But in the end, you need both… so why debate? A purse is a carry all for your things that matter (and those that don’t) and for all your man’s stuff that he likes to sneak in there. A purse is a reflection of your personality and a harmonizing factor in your outfit. When it comes to purses, I’m a simple gal. I go for the statement pieces that I won’t have to switch up all the time and goes with anything and everything I wear (and fits my wallet, umbrella, camera, etc etc etc). I’ve sure had my eye on the Michael Kors Selma bag but I just couldn’t get around the price tag. So when Spin came out with their ultimate “it bag” for the fall I cracked. I wanted to buy all the colors. It’s a simple bag that packs a mean statement (AND it’s roomy). Blue is SUCH A HUGE COLOR this fall season and you can literally make it work with anything. Plus, at $42 you can’t go wrong. You just can’t.

5 Things.

It’s true. I said yes to the dress this past weekend!
I’m a girl who knows what she wants, so finding THE PERFECT DRESS was easy. I had already had my dream dress in my head, it was just a matter of tracking it down (which I did) and I left the store with one less thing on my wedding prep list. Badaboom! I won’t be spilling any details of what I’ll be wearing until after the wedding, but I’ll sure go through some of the designer dresses that kept me inspired. Stay tuned!

I just got a new Fujifilm Mini Polaroid camera, and I’m snapping away at everything. This was a perfect birthday gift (and just in time too!) to record special moments along the way to the BIG day.

I’ve always been one to ignore this color when it comes to clothes, because I’ve got naturally flushed cheeks, but I’m loving this look way too much to ignore it. Do you have a color you tend to stay away from?

WORDS TO LIVE BY
With a new season coming up in my life, I can’t help but gather some concrete words to live by to keep me firm in the ground in times of stress or worry. For someone who is addicted to Pinterest and consistently saving visual inspiration, I thought it would be nice to bring some other form of inspiration to the blog to inspire you and I.
It’s been pretty hectic ’round here with wedding planning and putting together the Fall collection for SpinGallery. So I’m planning on coming back to this post very often between now and wedding bells.
