July Cravings

julycravings

It’s Summer! Other than the usual cravings for the beach, vacation, and a whole mess of bikinis – I’ve got 4 major cravings for this month.

1- It’s always been a norm of mine to always purchase a clutch at random times, because you never know when you’re REALLY going to need one. But this month, I’m really craving the minaudière, or in more ‘normal terms’: the Fancy Clutch. I’ve got my eye on a select few ranging from steal, to splurge, to casual and crazy. (1 – Rebecca Minkoff, 2 – Target (It’s actually a pack of 2!), 3 – Forever21)

2 – A pair of my favorite sandals just broke, so I’m on the lookout for another pair. And it seems like these TopShop Leopard Sandals are going to do the trick for me! It’s always fun to add a hint of leopard to any kind of outfit.

3 – Sneakers. I love sneakers, always and forever. I’m really really craving a hidden wedge sneaker, similar to the Isabel Marant kind. There are many brands coming out with sneakers now, but I haven’t found “the one” yet. Promise to keep you updated! I’m also really into running shoes, even though I really don’t do much of that. But these polka dotted pair from Nike really have my attention! (Maybe it will get me to start running again? haha!)

4 – More DIY Projects. I really want to create a flower crown & add some glitter to a pair of booties I have. Other than leopard, glitter is a good touch to add!

Splurge VS Steal: Isabel Marant Sneakers

Splurge VS Steal

Splurge: Isabel Marant
Steal: Nine West (You can find them here & here too)

It seems like everyone owns a pair of these Isabel Marant Sneakers. Celebrities like: Miranda Kerr, Anne Hathaway, Alicia Keys, fashion bloggers all over the world, and model mavens parading through the streets of New York. And last but not least, not me. Six hundred plus on a pair of sneakers is a lot. (A lot being an understatement, of course.) But I did find a pretty good steal on these shoes. Nine West. Hidden wedge and everything. Not too shabby for less than $100. You’re welcome.
