What Did I TennesSEE?

One of my favorite parts on the trip was waking up just in time for the sunrise. The weather was very foggy and rainy for most of my trip, but I was able to catch two of the most beautiful sunrises I’ve ever seen. As you can obviously tell, those would be number 1 & 4 (via my Instagram @ashleysixto)

I wasn’t the only one wishing for sunshine. By the looks of it, Stella was too. She can now check of “be a mountain dog” off her bucket list.

dress: Forever 21 . shoes: Soludos for JCrew (so comfortable!) purse: Michael Kors.

This dress was the perfect thing to wear for the weather. It was pretty hot and muggy, so I wanted to wear something light, but still within my style. We headed to Ober to visit the Bear sanctuary and get breakfast at the Pancake Pantry. That place is a popular spot in Gatlinburg, TN. They have the BEST breakfast! Definitely a must-go-to place if you’re ever in that area.

the things we (HE) does best: cook! // BBQ’n on the balcony with Adrian

Did a little shopping while & couldn’t wait to get home to wear it. I mean, how awesome is that jacket? // jacket: Tommy Hilfiger. tee & necklace: Forever 21.

Headed to see the Caverns in Tuckaleechee // To know you’re at least 300+ feet underground is crazy! It’s such a beautiful sight down there. The pictures do the beauty no justice. (photo 1 is a “chandelier” type formation & photo 2 is a waterfall that’s at the end of the trail)

family trip tradition // doing a jump in every place we visit

On our last day in Tennessee we finally got to go hiking! This is something we were all dying to do and worried we wouldn’t be able to do so. The views are spectacular and definitely something to cherish forever. This hike was very eventful considering that we beat the pouring rain and the Chimney Tops hike!

At the mountain peak, in order to be able to see the views, you would have to climb this giant rock. Adrian’s mom was definitely having a heart attack at the site of it, but it was such a rush once we did it!

I had such a great time relaxing, taking in all the scenery around me, and eating! But there’s no greater feeling than being home! It’s back to reality….

Hope everyone enjoys the rest of their weekends!

XOXO,

Ash
