AIRPORT STYLE

ashleysixto.com ashleysixto.com

one rule: comfort.

traveling back home (Miami) equals long hours of travel & a necessity to wear comfortable clothes and shoes to make sure the trip does’t feel a minute longer. so I go for the stretch jeans, a basic tee & shoes without laces, straps, buckles or anything that makes going through airport security a MISSION.

i’m wearing:

Zara Leather Jacket (similar options)
Target Basic Long Sleeve Tee
Forever 21 Scarf
Old Navy Distressed Skinny Jeans
Zara Basic Ankle Boots (similar)

What are your go to pieces for airport style?

THAT DAY WE WENT TO IKEA…

A couple weeks ago, Adrian and I were heading up to Ikea for some DIY project ideas (I really wanted to make a shoe shelf for our home office). On the way, we couldn’t help but be mesmerised by the beautiful coastline RIGHT OFF THE SIDE OF THE HIGHWAY. It was mind blowing. So instead of potentially putting ourselves in danger by staring out the side window, we stopped at the first little side road & began exploring…And what we found, was even more breathtaking.

Spain’s coast has a lot of beauty to offer that Adrian and I have yet to experience. We’re working really hard and don’t have the opportunity to get out much, but when we have our days off…that’s the first thing we do: Plan our day to do something completely new and different.

It’s crazy to see how fast 2014 went by. We’re already in 3 days into 2015…there are so many new things in my life: zip code, experiences, and people (to name just a few)

2014 had definitely been a whirlwind of the happiest and the saddest moments I’ve ever experienced in my life. But if there is one thing I can take from all of it is, God has a bigger plan & he’s most definitely in control [of everything].

I look upon 2015 with a calm heart and pray for it to be another year filled with beautiful memories. I don’t want to make resolutions this year, I just want to make myself one promise: happiness.

I hope that everyone enjoys their new year & makes the absolute best of it! I’m excited to see what it has in store for all of us.
