The weather in Spain has quickly dropped in temperature, especially during the evenings, so I’m finding myself staring at my closet and trying different ways to layer up instead of going for my jackets as first instinct. The cooler weather is quickly ushering in creative ways for you and I to keep warm and one “hot” item this season is the cape. From cape blazers to oversized scarves as ponchos, it was all over the runways for Fall 2014 and all over my mind at the moment.
The most eye-catching poncho at the moment is definitely the Custom Burberry Poncho. While we all wish this poncho was on our shoulders reading our initials, It’s already been spotted on Olivia Palermo, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Cara Delevingne. (Lucky babes)
But don’t fret my loves, I’ve found the almost perfect alternative via the online boutique Choies. And if you’re looking to take this steal to the next level, I would suggest a mini DIY project and have your initials embroidered onto the poncho – score!
I love how this poncho was paired on the runway – A prairie like dress with tons of movement, booties and a structured bag.
